Good Causes

As well as being one of the most spectacular events on earth, Glastonbury Festival retains its ethos as a positive force for change both locally and internationally.
The major causes supported by Glastonbury Festival are Oxfam, Greenpeace and Wateraid

Please visit the following sites for more information:

A huge number of Festival goers signalled their commitment to action on climate change at this year's Glastonbury. Besides listening to their favourite bands and battling with the traditional wet and muddy weather, over 70,000 new supporters signed up to the UK's I Count campaign to stop climate chaos. Festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis joined with the three headline charities - Greenpeace, Oxfam and Wateraid to encourage everyone to get behind the I Count campaign. Among the artists who signed up to show their support were The Kooks, Just Jack, Klaxons, Zane Lowe, Billy Bragg and The Arcade Fire.

If you haven't yet signed up to the campaign, it's not too late. You can sign up via the I Count web site to find out how you can help reduce the impact of climate change.
